Our aim at LAWSA is to champion better local architecture, communities and the environment.
We campaign for good design in our local area by organising publicity, exhibitions and talks that are open to design and construction professionals and members of the public.
The LAWSA DESIGN EVENTS programme has been devised to present interesting, relevant and topical design seminars and events on a monthly basis with events based in Kendal.
Unless stated otherwise in the Eventbrite invitation, events will take place at lunchtime, starting at 12.30pm and lasting approximately one hour, on the last Wednesday of every month (excluding August and December). They are held in the MINTWORKS (next door to The Brewery Arts Centre) 124 Highgate, Kendal.
The formal element of the event will be of approximately 60 minutes duration with time both before and afterwards for attendees to discuss the event or just have a chat.
We are keen to encourage attendance by all who share an interest in the chosen topics. The events are not just for architects....everyone is welcome.
