A TOUR OF NEW BUILDING PROJECTS AT LANCASTER UNIVERSITY
4.30pm - 7.00pm.
Meet in the Main Reception Area, University House, Lancaster University by 4.30 pm.
An exclusive tour of new projects on the Lancaster University campus including the new Engineering Building will be led by Mark Swindlehurst - Director of Facilities, Lancaster University, plus a short presentation on the Lancaster University campus Master Plan. This is a chance to see some award-winning projects which are not normally open to the public.
Refreshments will be provided. The event is free but please email planning@lakedistrict.gov.uk to advise that you will be attending. Please also advise in your email if you would like a car parking permit which will allow you to park on campus for free.
Download a Lancaster University campus map here. Once on campus - turn left at the first main roundabout then first right and then left to park on Bowland Avenue East or alternatively go straight on after the roundabout to park on North West Drive. Collect your parking permit from University House Reception (marked 32 in the red circle on the campus map).

Local architect Andrew Yeats of Eco Arch Architects will tell us about his latest passive house-inspired design projects and his client Shelley Barlow will talk about a recent self-build house.
